DAMAX Mouldings is an Australian based manufacturer and wholesaler of automotive lenses, established in 1998 (as David Azzopardi Manufacturing changing to DAMAX Mouldings in 2016). We specialise in the vintage, classic and collectible car, bike and truck market.
In the late 1990’s we began reproducing automotive lenses for the Australian car market, mainly Australian designed Chryslers, Fords and GM Holden vehicles built in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Many of these vehicles had identical undercarriages (platforms) to USA models, however sheet metal, bumper bars, park and tail lights etc varied to US models.
From the year 2000 we began to reproduce hard to find lenses for North American, English, Italian, French and German vehicles from the 1950’s to 1970’s.
Our reproduction range covers glass headlight and tail lenses of the 1920’s, to park and tail lenses of the 1990’s.
Exporting accounts for most of our sales. Export sales began in 2000 with regular wholesale sales to customers in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Europe.
Virtually all sales are wholesale through various collectible car specialists and clubs, many of whom have sourced products from us for over 15 years.
